ZTE has unveiled a new smartwatch called ZTE Watch Live, which comes across as an “equipped” smartwatch with its design and software features for its price, also does not experience the “charging” problem that most smartwatches have.
The smartwatch ZTE Watch Live is equipped with a 1.3-inch touchscreen TFT display that offers 240 x 240 pixels. The user can customize its appearance by using different watch faces. The smartwatch promises about 14-21 days of battery life on a single charge. It comes with support for magnetic cable charging. The exact size of the battery is not stated in the official list.
In terms of health features, ZTE Watch Live comes with support for 24-hour heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) tracker, and sleep tracking. It can be used to track 12 types of sports activities such as walking, running, skipping, skiing, swimming, cycling, and many more.
Once paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth 4.2, Watch Live can be used to check notifications such as incoming calls, reminders, messages, and so on in real-time. It supports other functions like the weather forecast, remote camera, music control, and find my phone.
The Smartwatch measures are 40.6 x 34.6 x 10.8 and weigh only 35.7 grams. It is a dust and water-resistant device with an IP68 rating. It has a skin-friendly bracelet made of silica gel.
. Regarding the price, ZTE Watch Live is priced at 229 yuan (around $35 ) in China. Pre-sales of the smartwatch have started, and deliveries will begin on December 3. Once the promotion ends, its normal price will be 249 yuan ($38). There is no word on the availability of ZTE Watch Live outside of China.
