This famous ” under-display ” technology for front cameras has been talking about it for over a year, when Xiaomi and Oppo in turn unveiled prototypes but which were never marketed. The first models to embed this techno which would rid us of notches and other punches are logically eagerly awaited. In a post published on the Chinese social network Weibo, Ni Fei the president of the mobile division of ZTE in China assured that “the first smartphone with a camera under the screen will be a ZTE!”, As reported by XDA-Developers.
As we can see in the caption of the post of the leader of ZTE on Weibo, the message would have been published from his smartphone “ZTE A20 5G under-screen camera”. The name for a phone is a bit long and I don’t know if we can customize this information on Weibo.
But, in absolute terms, this could, therefore, suggest that this famous ZTE A20 5G would be at a minimum at a stage of development or even advanced production if Ni Fei is already using it.
Nothing is known about this ZTE A20 5G. But a Chinese leak spotted by Gizmochina would have succeeded in unearthing the list of certifications of the device from the SRRC (State Radio Regulation of China), a regulatory authority equivalent to the ANFR in France.
The certification list reveals that the device will carry the ZTE model number A2121 and will most likely succeed in the flagship ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G (A2020 SP), which launched earlier this year.
This same source also speculates that the ZTE A20 5G will use the under-screen camera solution from Chinese company Visionox that you were told about a few months ago and which started mass production of the technology last month. Visionox will also supply its under-screen camera technology to other Chinese manufacturers such as Xiaomi, OPPO, and Huawei.
