In September of this year, the Chinese company ZTE released Axon 20, the world’s first smartphone with a front-facing camera located under the display surface. Earlier this month, the company launched an upgraded version of the same, dubbed as Axon 20 Extreme Edition.
The Chinese company is now preparing to launch its new flagship smartphone, the ZTE Axon 30. On Weibo, Ni Fei, CEO of ZTE’s Smartphone Division, has officially announced that the ZTE Axon 30 will offer the most innovative camera and imaging solutions.
Presumably, the presentation of the new flagship smartphone will take place early next year. The ZTE Axon 20 is based on the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, so the smartphone is a mid-range smartphone that was the first to receive a sub-screen camera. As for the ZTE Axon 30, the smartphone is expected to have an improved sub-screen camera and flagship hardware.
Next year, ZTE will pool resources, continue to invest in distribution channels, open 5000 retail outlets, merge the three main brands ZTE, Nubia, and Red Magic, and create technology, quality, and youth devices. In recent years, the company’s mobile phones, especially the flagship Axon series, have given us surprises.
