Xiaomi’s POCO M2 Pro has started pushing the MIUI 14 update, which adds a number of new features and improvements aimed at enhancing the user experience, such as a new design language and super ICONS. It also includes an April 2023 Android security patch to enhance system security.
It’s worth noting that MIUI 14 is built on the Android 12 framework, so some features may not be available.
POCO M2 Pro MIUI 14 is updated to V14.0.3.0.SJPINXM, and the download file size is about 500 MB.
The update log mentions an April 2023 security patch and optimized Settings for the app search system, and the search section will now display past search histories and categories that will enhance its accessibility and ease of use.
Xiaomi POCO M2 Pro was originally released in July 2020. It uses Snapdragon 720G chip, 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display, 16MP front-facing selfie camera, rear 48MP main sensor + 8MP ultra wide angle lens + 5MP macro lens + 2MP depth camera with 5000mAh battery and 33W fast charge. It running on Android 10-based MIUI 11, MIUI 14 and Android 12 are its third MIUI and second major Android update, respectively.
