A brand new TV stick product of Xiaomi has recently passed FCC certification in the United States, and large high-definition pictures and disassembly photos of the product have been exposed. The product is codenamed “MDZ-27-AA” and is expected to be called Mi TV Stick 4K 2021.
The FCC released teardowns, remote controls, photos of accessories, and some product specs.
As you can see from the disassembled image, xiaomi’s TV stick is powered by Amlogic S905Y4 chip, which has four Cortis-A35 cores and is integrated with the Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The motherboard also integrates Samsung’s separate memory, flash memory chips, and Mediatek’s wireless modules. In addition, the product uses USB 2.0 Micro-B interface for power supply.
In terms of performance, xiaomi’s new TV stick supports 4K/60 FPS 10bit video specifications, as well as AV1, AVS2 (4K/ 30 FPS), H.264, H.265 and VP9 P-2 video decoding. In addition, TV stick also supports the following audio and video standards:
Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, DTS HD, HDR10, HDR10+, HLG
The device is expected to run on Android TV and have a maximum WiFi connection speed of 866.7Mbps, foreign media said. HDMI extension cable, 5V 1A power adapter.

Xiaomi’s first TV Stick, called the Mi TV Stick, costs $60 (387 yuan). It has a maximum resolution of 1080P and a similar look.
