Exactly as happened with the Xiaomi Mi 11 which officially made the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC debut, the Chinese giant could grant an encore by first launching a smartphone equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 775G SoC. Because recently some developers have seen a new Snapdragon chipset in Xiaomi’s Miui code. The new chip will belong to the Snapdragon 7 series. However, this chipset also has 5G support.
As shown in the source codes, the 5G supported chip of the Snapdragon 7 series will come with the model number SM7350. Therefore, it seems likely that the chipset displayed is Snapdragon 775G.
MIUI in the code that appears Snapdragon 775G, probably the first in a new one phone Xiaomi will be used. However, it is not yet clear which model will be available on the device. According to estimates, it seems likely to be a mid-range phone belonging to the Xiaomi or Redmi series.
Previously Roland Quandt, codenamed “Cedros” which Snapdragon 775G’s, Samsung’s 6 nm EUV the process said it will use. Cedros name of Mexico in the open comes from an island. Since Qualcomm’s headquarters in San Diego is very close to it, the company prefers such a naming.
This chipset prototype, AnTuTu at 530,000 from the higher scores were obtained. This means that its performance will be much better than the Snapdragon 765G. Last year’s flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 865, AnTuTu at 600,000 around to score taking.
Not only that, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 775G seems to support LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 flash storage, typical of the top of the range. At the moment, Qualcomm has launched premium platforms like Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 870 but the main purpose is to expand the lineup of SoCs equipped with 5G modems to the mid and low range.
