The rumours about Xiaomi Mi Notebook maybe finally true. Thanks to the leaked slides and the images online, we can finally expect for the Notebook to be launched soon. While the slides reveal the detailed specs and the prices, the images on the other hand give us a closer look at the design of the notebook.
Mi’s selling point has always been its low pricing and beast specs. But these slides point to something different. There will be two versions of the Mi Notebook as far as the slides go. The base version looks to suit the moderate usage users and packs Intel Core-i5 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage and is priced at 3999 yuan which converts to 600$ nearly.
Pro version of the Mi notebook plans to target the users with heavy usage and gamers. With Nvidia’s Latest GTX 970M 4GB DDR5 graphics card + Intel’s Core i7 Processor + 16 gigabytes of DDR4 RAM and a superfast storage of 512 GB SSD, the pro version will definitely rock the market.
The third slide shows a comparison of the devices available in the market around Mi Notebook’s price and specs range.Costing nearly half of what the MacBook Pro does, the Mi outshines Lenovo and Macbook pro in terms of storage and graphics capabilites.
Coming to the images, what appears to be a Asus Zenbook Pro lookalike is actually the real Mi Notebook as claimed by a user on Xiaomi Notebook’s Baidu Bar. On a suprise, the notebook seems to be using USB Type C for charging and has very thin bezels. In addition to the standard USB port, a image with the left side view would have given a more insight on the ports. The sleek metal body and the silver colour adds up to the cool design.
Though the pricing and specs looks solid but you can expect some variations here and there. And if you are so excited about the Xiaomi Mi Notebook then stay tuned for Xiaomi’s upcoming event on 27th of this month.
