Igeekphone September 5 news, Xiaomi company recently issued a statement on the overseas version of the MIUI system to change the default home page of Chrome browser, denied the possibility of a virus, and explained the reasons for this.
The official statement reads: “Dear Mi fans, we recently noticed that due to the cooperation between Xiaomi and Mintnav, your Chrome browser home page has been switched to Mintnav.com. This change is not mandatory, and users can change the Chrome home page at any time as required.”
Igeekphone queried the relevant information and found that the problem can be traced back to March this year, and users reported that the problem would occur after upgrading to MIUI 14.
The issue currently covers several regional versions, including MIUI 14 Global and EEA, and the default home page of Chrome will change to Mintnav.com after users upgrade.
