Having already been announced in countries such as Thailand and China, Xiaomi continues to expand the availability of Redmi Note 6 Pro in the Asian market and now the company has just officially launched the model in India with the same interesting hardware and low price, following the principles classics of the company.
Redmi Note 6 Pro, the new device from Xiaomi’s acclaimed Redmi Note series, comes with a number of improvements, especially on the camera side, for its predecessor. On a device with a notched design concept, a larger screen is fitted to a case that is not so large as Redmi Note 5.
Starting from the screen features of the device; The 6.26-inch display has a glass structure supported by Corning Gorilla Glass technology and a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. On the processor side, the Snapdragon 636 processor used for Redmi Note 5 Pro was also used for Redmi Note 6 Pro.
The dual cameras on the rear consist of a primary 12MP sensor coupled with a 5MP secondary sensor which assists in capturing depth information. The primary sensor has 1.4-micron pixels with a f/1.9 aperture. This combination, Xiaomi claims, allows the Redmi Note 6 Pro’s cameras to capture more light and details of scenes.
On the front, there’s a dual camera setup which is a first for the Note series. The primary being a 20MP sensor and a secondary 2MP depth sensor. The 20MP snapper has a f/2.0 aperture while the second camera has a wider f/2.2 aperture.
The Android 8.1 Oreo version and the MIUI 10.0 user interface offer two different memory versions, 4GB and 6GB. Devices with 64GB of memory have up to 256GB of storage space. The battery is powered by a 4000mAh battery and includes fast charging support for users. The device weighs 182 grams and is available in black, rose gold, blue and red.
