Xiaomi had introduced the Redmi Note 5 and the advanced Redmi Note 5 Pro in India earlier this month. Usually, it is known for launching its phones first in China and then making it available in other countries. However, the Chinese manufacturer announced the Redmi Note 5 in India first. Xiaomi’s product marketing director Zang Chi-Yuan has confirmed on Weibo that China will be getting the Redmi Note 5 in the coming month.
The specs of the Redmi Note 5 that has arrived in India indicates that it is a rebranded version of the Redmi 5 Plus that was launched in China in December last year. Rumors are rife that the Redmi Note 5 Pro that Indi has received will be unveiled as Redmi Note 5 in China.
