The Xiaomi unveiled the Spring Festival the last updated version of Mijia electric razor, the S500C, a machine for three uses. The new Mijia S500C shaver has two new components packaged by its predecessor. The other specifications are absolutely no different from its predecessor Mijia S500.
The new accessories consist of two new interchangeable heads. The first removable head is the chin profiler, which is better known as the trimmer. The other head is a rotating brush, thanks to which you perfectly clean your skin. The manufacturer also supplies a stylish leather case.
Both the Xiaomi Mijia S500 and the S500C have a pleasant minimalist design of 155.1 x 61.6 x 63.3 mm. The weight of the movement is 345 g and the whole body has a pleasant PPG surface. It holds well in the hand and does not leave fingerprints on the movement.
It is suitable for dry and wet shaving and is IPX7 certified. This means it is water-resistant and can also be used under running water. Removable shaving heads are easy to dismantle, making the appliance quick and easy to clean after use.
Both the S500 and S500C have three round shaving heads with 360-degree shaving technology. They incorporate double-bladed rotary blades for a fast and high-quality shave.
The shaving heads are placed in a triangular profile that is movable and perfectly adapts to the contours of the face. Metal parts of the shaving heads were made of high-quality steel brands JFE and SANDVIK. In addition, the blades were machined with ECM electrochemical technology.
The movement is powered by a quality Japanese motor Mabuchi 260. At the bottom of the handle is an inconspicuous LED monochrome display to inform the user about the battery capacity. It charges for approximately two hours via the USB Type-C connector and, after charging, drives the movement for approximately 60 minutes.
The new electric shaver Xiaomi Mijia S500C was launched in China for only 299 yuan (about $43.34). It is very likely that we will soon see it in the offer of global sellers, as was the case with the older model.
