Xiaomi has introduced its latest innovation, the Xiaomi Mijia Fresh Air Pro Vertical Air Conditioner, now available for pre-order on its official platform. Slated for release on April 27, the 3-horsepower unit is priced at 8,999 yuan (approximately $1,235) and targets medium to large rooms spanning 30–40 square meters.
Featuring a sleek, modern aesthetic in a metallic silver finish, the appliance boasts a dual-outlet system capable of distributing air across a 160-degree arc, ensuring even coverage in hard-to-reach areas like room corners. Its customizable four-zone airflow control allows users to tailor wind direction and intensity to specific sections of a space.
Xiaomi Mijia Fresh Air Pro Equipped with dual millimeter-wave radars, the air conditioner dynamically adjusts airflow based on human presence. It can either follow occupants to maintain comfort or avoid direct drafts while automatically modulating wind speed relative to proximity. If no movement is detected within a 7-meter radius for an extended period, the system shifts to an energy-saving mode to reduce power consumption.
With a robust 1,710 m³/h airflow capacity, the model emphasizes both cooling and air quality. Xiaomi highlights a 97.41% methanol filtration rate alongside a fresh air exchange system that refreshes indoor air in just 22 minutes. Integrated ion purification technology further enhances air cleanliness by neutralizing airborne particles.
The unit also carries a top-tier energy efficiency rating, aligning with Xiaomi’s focus on eco-friendly home solutions. Pre-orders are now open, with shipments expected to begin later this month.
