Perhaps due to the approach of the release date, rumors about the new Xiaomi mi pad 5 are mounting.
Today, the well-known blogger @digital chat station revealed that Xiaomi mi pad 5 also has a SM8150AC version.
The chip is an improved version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 860 processor, also known as the Snapdragon 855+.
The Snapdragon 860 is identical to the Snapdragon 855+ in terms of CPU, GPU, DSP and other architectures. The Snapdragon 860 and the Snapdragon 855+ both use the Kryo 485 core with the highest master frequency of 2.96GHz, Adreno 640 GPU and Hexagon 690 DSP.
But the Snapdragon 860 doesn’t support 5G. Compared to the Snapdragon 855+, the Snapdragon 860 supports up to 16GB of RAM, and support dual 1080P 90Hz screens, and adds to support for 90Hz high refresh.
In addition, the blogger also said that the original screen of the engineering phone uses 11-inch 2560×1600 resolution LCD screen, supporting 120Hz and 240Hz touch sampling rate, adopting the TDDI panel driver of Lianyong Technology, and has a pressure sense of 4096 level.
The Xiaomi mi pad 5 is expected to come in three different configurations, including the Snapdragon 870, the Snapdragon 860 and the Snapdragon 888 4G, although the latter will be released later.
In addition to core features, the Mi pad 5 will also feature a tablet system similar to the Mi Mix Fold.
