The arrival of Xiaomi’s first folding smartphone is just around the corner. Not only because of its large number of certifications but because of the repeated leaks that are taking place like the one we bring you next. After being seen on the Chinese subway lines, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Foldable smartphone, or at least its prototype, has been seen again, showing us in great detail how its design will be in general lines.
In any case, new photos have emerged that show a foldable smartphone that, at least due to the lettering, can be assigned to the Mi Mix series from Xiaomi. And in the background is a PC with Windows XP, we should be aware of that. But back to the topic.
Looking at the photos, the first thing that catches the eye is the aesthetics and the structure that the first device fold of the Chinese OEM will have. According to reports, this will have a hinge that will allow the phone to fold inward, just like Samsung’s Galaxy Fold / Z Fold 2 and Huawei’s Mate X2. Apparently, the innovative gadget will be part of the Mi Mix lineup, the company’s most innovative product series.
As we can see, the images reveal the only-mold of the phone: there is no screen on these photos. We can also observe the configuration consisting of a triple camera, but at the moment the photographic module is only a placeholder, so the final design could be completely different. What will not change is the horizontal alignment of the optics.
We are really surprised to see the Mi Mix logo back in circulation because the last phone of that family that hit the shelves was the Mi Mix 3 two years ago. In addition, it was already known from other rumors that the foldable from Xiaomi should resemble the devices from Samsung. It also seems clear for a long time that the South Koreans even supply the display for Xiaomi Mi Mix Foldable.
