According to blogger Digital Chat site, Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold 3 makes up for the previous generation’s regret, with an in-screen camera, 50W wireless flash charging support, and a 5x hidden telephoto lens.
One of the biggest changes in the Mi MIX Fold 3 compared to its predecessor is the return of the under-screen camera.
Generally speaking, to achieve the imaging of the camera under the screen, the key is to let the sensor perceive the light, but the display panel is generally not transparent. So you need to adjust the layout of the display pixels so that some of the light gets in and is transmitted to the camera sensor below the screen for imaging.
Separately, Xiaomi’s MIX Fold 3 is powered by Qualcomm’s second-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform. The CPU contains one Cortex-X3 superlarge core with a maximum CPU frequency of 3.2GHz + four performance cores with a maximum CPU frequency of 2.8GHz + three efficiency cores with a maximum CPU frequency of 2.0GHz.
According to Qualcomm, overall CPU performance is 35% better and power efficiency is 40% better on the Snapdragon 8 Gen2. The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen2 platform will debut around August.
