This morning, Xiaomi officially announced its new fold-screen flagship, Mi MIX FOLD 2.
The phone will be officially unveiled at Lei Jun’s annual speech at 19:00 PM on Thursday (Aug 11), billed as “the last mile to break the folding screen”.
It is reported that this machine will improve the biggest pain point of the previous generation “screen ratio”, whether it is the outer screen and the inner screen are more practical, the outer screen is bid farewell to the title of “remote control”.
Recently, Mi product manager Wei Siqi posted screenshots showing that the external screen resolution of the MIX FOLD 2 is 2520×1080, and the screen aspect ratio is 21:9, which returns to the normal ratio of mobile phones, and is the best proportion of Hollywood blockbusters.
In addition to the screen ratio, both internal and external screens also support high brush, and what’s further with Youshang is that both internal and external screens are 120Hz high brush, so there will be no tearing experience.
It has an 8-inch home screen with 2.5K resolution, LTPO technology and intelligent refresh rate adjustment.
The core is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ flagship processor, equipped with 12GB memory, and the rear main camera is 50 megapixels. It may be equipped with Xiaomi’s self-developed image chip C1/C2, and Leica image booster.
