Xiaomi continues the beta program of its Miui 10 layer with changes and new features. The company has released today a new global version of Miui 10 that corrects errors adds some new features. The update is available for the vast majority of compatible devices, but some models like the Xiaomi Redmi S2 will not be able to update at the moment due to some last minute errors reportedly from the MIUI forums.
As we say, the owners of the models, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 4X and Redmi S2 will not be able to update for the moment due to technical failures that have not been detailed. The others can now download Beta 9.3.14 from MIUI. The detail of the changes and developments is not very big but it does detail two important points to take into account.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 also got the Miui 10 update which includes a new function has also been added that allows continuing on the lock screen even after the terminal has recognized our face. You can try this new function from Settings / Lock screen and password / Face data. In addition, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 developer version also optimizes the fluency of the system and improves the security and stability of the system.
Recall that one of the great innovations of Miui 10 implemented in the previous version of this beta, is the incorporation of a Dark Mode for the entire user interface. This style, designed to save battery and give a different touch to our smartphone, is being implanted by Google natively in Android Q, as we have seen in its first beta recently released.
