According to some previous reports, Xiaomi is working on a pair of new mid-range smartphones, called Mi Max 4 and Mi Max 4 Pro. Most recently, a source from India has shared interesting information about the duo.
Specifically, the source said the Mi Max 4 and Mi Max 4 Pro will be equipped with a 7.2-inch LCD screen, bigger than the 6.9-inch screen on last year’s Mi Max 3. The device is likely to have a full-screen design on the front and comes with a “rabbit ear” on the upper border but smaller than the Mi Max 3 and covered with Gorilla Glass toughened glass 5.
In terms of configuration, the Mi Max 4 will use Snapdragon 660 chip and there are up to 3 different internal memory and RAM variants. In particular, this phone is believed to have the main camera up to 48MP resolution using Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor like Redmi Note 7. Moreover, Mi Max 4 will support night scene mode “Night Mode +, charged This feature has previously come to Redmi Note 7 after the OTA update.
The remaining rumored features of the Mi Max 4 include a 5800mAh battery, 18W fast charging support, pre-installed Android 9 Pie and the latest MIUI 11. Meanwhile, the Mi Max 4 Pro will basically have a few points like the Mi Max 4 but is upgraded with a Snapdragon 675 processor, Sony IMX586 sensor with 20MP and 48MP resolution.
With the support of the new Sony sensor, the Mi Max 4 will likely feature 960fps video recording. Rumors have it that the Mi Max 4 Pro also has a fingerprint sensor built into the screen.
