Last year, Xiaomi had launched the Mi Max 2 smartphone in May. Hence, this year too, the Chinese manufacture is speculated to debut it in the coming month. Rumors have it that the Mi Max 3 will possess full screen design and it is also expected to arrive with dual rear cameras. Today, the rumor mill has come across fresh images of the Mi Max 3’s TPU case which reveals some of the key features that will be arriving on it.
The above images show that the sides of the Mi Max 3 will feature buttons for power/lock, volume up and down. The backside of the phone will be also equipped with a fingerprint reader. It also features a wider cutout for the camera which indicates that it will be the first Mi Max phone to come with dual rear cameras. It also reveals that it will be featuring a vertically stacked dual camera setup like other Xiaomi phones like Mi MIX 2S and Redmi Note 5. It appears that its LED flash could be placed between the two camera sensors.
The leaked firmware files of the alleged Xiaomi Mi Max 3 had revealed that it would be equipped with wireless charging feature. Hence, it is unlikely to feature a metallic rear, but may arrive with a glass panel on its backside. Rumors have it that it could be powered by the Snapdragon 636 chipset or Snapdragon 660. These chipset variants may respectively feature 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM. It is pegged to arrive with a 6.99-inch FHD+ resolution supporting IPS LCD display and a behemoth battery of 5,500mAh capacity. The handset is also expected to be equipped with Quick Charge 3.0.
