Last year, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro phone was the starting point for the Mi Note 10, being the version sold in China. Now we are talking about a new model, a Xiaomi Mi CC10, which moves to the next zoom level. 120X digital zoom is being discussed more recently. What else we know about the terminal can be found below.
There is currently only one 100X zoom phone on the market, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. Huawei P40 Pro + should arrive in stores in the next few days, with a similar zoom capability. Xiaomi still wants more! The rumor Xiaomishka writes that the new phone has the code name “CAS” and its debut will take place in July 2020. Its trade name would be Xiaomi Mi CC10. It could later be converted internationally to Xiaomi Mi Note 11 / Mi Note 20.
The source also talks about a gigantic 12X optical zoom and 120X digital zoom. The main camera on this smartphone will be a 108 megapixel one with Samsung ISOCELL Bright HM2 sensor. In addition, the phone would have an unannounced processor inside, a Snapdragon 775G, with 5G support and NFC mode. If we look at last year’s Xiaomi Mi CC9 we see that it had a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 710 processor, 6GB RAM, and a triple camera in the back.
The Mi CC10 sounds more like a successor to the Mi CC9 Pro, which had a Penta camera with a 108MP sensor and two telephoto cameras, plus a Snapdragon 730G CPU. This time I don’t think it goes with crop and upscaling fireworks to achieve such an impressive zoom, but it will need a periscope camera.
Finally, this year’s models should continue to use Samsung’s AMOLED screen with a built-in digital reader. For now, Xiaomi does not speak out on the matter. With that, we recommend that you consider everything as just another market rumor.
