Leaks began to come about the Xiaomi Mi CC10 model. With the shares of China-based leak sources, the processor of the Mi CC10 model has emerged. The news comes from a Weibo post, a well-known Chinese microblogging site, by a well-known informant.
According to @ 禿 然 熊猫, the Chinese tech giant’s Mi CC10 series will be equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chipset. This processor is a flagship SoC that is primarily aimed at high-end smartphones that come at a relatively cheaper price than ultra-high-end phones.
Similarly, a report from ITHome added that other rumors have surfaced that also revealed the battery capacity of the upcoming smartphone. According to these suggestions, Xiaomi Mi CC10 will be powered by a large 4360mAh battery pack.
For the uninitiated, the CC10 is the successor to the Mi CC9 series of devices launched in 2019. In particular, the high-end Mi CC9 Pro was also one of the first devices to sport a rear camera module with a 100MP sensor. The series was well-received in China and even launched in a special Meitu edition.
Unfortunately, this is still just an unconfirmed report, so we urge you to take it with “a pinch of salt” for now. We don’t know what the official name for the global market might be. Probably, the Chinese OEM could present this product range with the Redmi Note moniker, but that’s just our guess. Also, Xiaomi could decide to launch with another wording, or it could still be part of the Mi 11 series. Nothing is to be excluded, in fact.
