Xiaomi’s Smart Ecology is generating increasing excitement for the imminent arrival of the Xiaomi Mi Band 8 Pro. The features of this product have undergone a significant upgrade, empowering users to personalize commonly used functions according to their preferences.
Based on the teaser poster, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 8 Pro boasts a variety of widgets, including heart rate monitoring, music control, weather updates, scheduling assistance, outdoor running statistics, and more. A novel photo album watch face function has been introduced, allowing users to raise their wrists to display photos, thus enhancing the overall interactive experience.
As per the earlier teasers, the Mi Band 8 Pro has a generously-sized “vibrant and colorful display” measuring 1.74 inches. This display enhancement involves an upgraded 60Hz refresh rate, showcasing 16.7 million colors and a pixel density of 336PPI. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the Xiaomi Mi Band 8 Pro will offer users a choice between two different strap materials to suit their preferences.
For insights into the core features and pricing of the Mi Band 8 Pro, it’s helpful to look back at the release of the Mi Band 7 Pro in July of the previous year. That product featured a 1.64-inch AMOLED square screen with a rich color palette, supported an Always-On Display (AOD) information screen, incorporated built-in GPS and NFC capabilities, facilitated various health monitoring functions, and boasted an impressive 12-day battery life.
