As we well know, Xiaomi and Huami have been cooperating for some time and this year resulted in the 5th generation of this device being launched. Now the extension of this business has been announced and we know that the new agreement will be in force for the next few years. This means that the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 is a sure thing.
The future of the series is secured after a new deal between Huami and Xiaomi – for an initial 3 years. With this, Huami will continue to manufacture fitness trackers for Xiaomi. Since new Mi-Bands are last on the market every year, the future of the Mi Band 6, 7, and 8 should be secured.
Remember that the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 will not be presented this year. The next installment of this popular product will probably debut in the second quarter of 2021. Planned news is not known yet. It is simply too early for this type of information and we will have to wait for more information.
In addition, Huami and Xiaomi want to work together on the research and development of chips for artificial intelligence (AI) and algorithms for wearables. The first Mi Band came onto the Chinese market in 2014, and since the Mi Band 3 of 2018, a successor to the inexpensive fitness tracker has been released annually, most recently the Mi Band 5.
