It is a tribute to the Hong Kong stock exchange (HKEX) that made by Xiaomi. The Chinese technology company recorded a 3% growth, so the shares moved from the initial price of HK $17 (Hong Kong dollar) to the new price of HK $19.20. This is precisely why the company decided, as announced by Huami Technology, to create a special version of the Xiaomi Mi Band 3. During the morning of today, the official Xiaomi account on Weibo has published two photos showing the special version of the Mi Band 3.
As you can see from the image, the code 1018.HK is engraved on the lower part of the display. This should represent the identification code of the Xiaomi Stock Exchange, but it is wrong. The actual code 1810.HK. This suggests that there was an error since the photo was published by the official company profile, but it is not excluded that the photo is false.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3 in the classic version was released in late May in China and is sold through online stores. The new Mi Band, now in its third generation, consists of a 0.78-inch diagonal OLED display. It has many features, for example, you can use applications such as WeChat and you can handle incoming calls. Finally, Mi Band 3 is water resistant to 50 meters. Let’s hope for the release of the Mi Band 3 HKEX special edition and let’s see the direction that the Xiaomi company takes in the volatile stock market.
