A year ago that the Mi A2, the second model of Xiaomi with Android One, hit the market, so the expectation for a successor is great. And according to the latest rumors, it looks like the wait was worth it.
The new Xiaomi phone is listed in the FCC with the model number M1906F9SH. The list, in addition to showing that the mobile works with Android One, also reveals the back panel of the phone, with a 48MP camera with AI functions at the top.
It should also be noted that in this scheme no fingerprint scanner appears on the back cover, which suggests that the sensor would be located in the front, either on a physical button or under the screen. XDA-Developers has already announced several weeks ago that Xiaomi was working on two Android One phones with a built-in fingerprint sensor on the screen. So the Xiaomi Mi A3 could also boast this feature.
There are several voices that believe that the Xiaomi Mi A3 would be based on the Xiaomi CC9 but it seems that finally, both phones will be a little more different than expected.
The hardware of the Xiaomi Mi A3 would be commanded by a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 665. The characteristics of the battery have also been advanced on other occasions, which would at least boast 4000mAh capacity with 18W fast charge support.
As for its memory options, we would have versions with 4 or 6GB of RAM and internal storage would go through capacities of 64 and 128GB. The presentation of the Xiaomi Mi A3 is expected to take place this month.
