Today, Xiaomi unveiled its new 30W wireless charging technology. Known as “Mi Charge Turbo”, the news should reach the consumer with the release of the Mi 9 Pro 5G. According to data shared by Xiaomi at the presentation, the new Mi Charge Turbo is capable of charging a 4000mAh battery from 0% to 50% in just 25 minutes. To reach 100%, it will take 69 minutes.
The news also has another striking feature: the reverse wireless charging stand and a unique vertical charger of this technology. See below the promotional material presented by Xiaomi.
The Chinese giant also took the opportunity to release a video showing its new 30W wireless charger. One of the points highlighted by the company is the large area where the mobile phone can be used. Note that the smartphone can be placed anywhere on the device for charging. Xiaomi also says the new technology is now a much more attractive option than wired charging.
Despite highlighting its wireless charging, Xiaomi closed the event stating that soon will present some news focused on wired charging. One of them is the 100W Super Charge Turbo.
According to the company, this news should probably be launched in conjunction with some Redmi line phone. Finally, the company also confirmed that it is already working on 40W wireless charging technology.
Remember that the Mi 9 Pro 5G will be the first to hit the market with 30W wireless charging. However, we do not have a specific release date yet. The only information available is rumored to indicate the presence of a QHD screen, OIS camera, 45W wired fast charging support, 4000mAh battery, and Android Pie.
