The Xiaomi Mi 8 is close to reaching Europe, and we already know what its prices would be in this part of the world. Renowned leaker Roland Quandt has confirmed, through WinFuture, when and how it will be possible to buy the new star terminal of the Chinese giant in European territory, where it will begin its commercialization this summer.
It’s only been a couple of weeks since Xiaomi introduced the Mi 8, and next to it, a special version under the name Mi 8 SE and the third generation of the famous Xiaomi Mi Band activity bracelet. Now that the terminal has started its commercialization in China, Xiaomi intends to expand the availability of the phone globally, and everything points to Europe being one of the first stops on the trip.

According to Roland Quandt, the roadmap that Xiaomi would have sent to the distributors shows that the smartphone would arrive in Europe in black and blue colors from the beginning of August – no sign of the Explorer edition at the moment – in the configurations of 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.
Regarding its price, it has been confirmed that in Switzerland the Xiaomi Mi 8 will be sold for 549 and 599 francs depending on the internal memory configuration chosen. At the change, these figures translate into 480 (about $555) and 520 euros (equal to $601) respectively, somewhat higher than the 360 ($416) and 400 euros ($462) that the device costs in the company’s native country, but still quite tight and inferior to those of direct rivals such as OnePlus 6.

Be that as it may, these data are still to be confirmed by Xiaomi herself, but keeping in mind the background of the filtering responsible for bringing this information to light, I am afraid that they will not differ too much from what we have known today.
