After debuting a few weeks ago in China, the international version of MIUI 10 begins to officially arrive at Xiaomi devices in its first stable version. MIUI 10 Global Stable has started to arrive via OTA to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Mi 5, Mi 6, Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2 and Mi Note 2, although users can update manually by downloading the update file.
And Today, Xiaomi Mi 8 has officially joined the MIUI 10 stable version update, now all members open. However, please note that the development/stable version update needs to clear the data, please be sure to back up important data before upgrading.
To update your Xiaomi compatible with MIUI 10 you just have to download the ZIP file of the OTA corresponding to the model of your device, save it in the storage of your device and then install it from Settings> On the phone> System update> Menu> Choose update package. There we select the file that we have downloaded and proceed with the installation.
It is worth mentioning that before the official announcement, some models may update the MIUI 10 stable version of the grayscale test, some users will receive the ROM in advance, you can directly upgrade, such as the Mi Mix 2S is currently in the grayscale test. In addition, Xiaomi Mi 8 is still testing the internals of Android 9.0, and you can try it with interest.
