The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 is fast approaching and various smartphone OEMs are now gearing up to unveil new phones in the coming week. Xiaomi was previously rumored to launch Mi 7 at MWC 2018, but recent rumors have revealed that it will be debuting the Mi MIX 2S smartphone. However, the rumors of Mi 7 are not ready to die yet as the company is now speculated to unveil it in the second quarter of this year. Amidst the launch rumors of the Mi MIX 2S, fresh concept renders of Mi 7 have surfaced to reveal its captivating design.
As it can be seen in the images, the Mi 7 concept renders appear quite different any of the predecessor models as it features a full screen design. The upper bezel of the concept phone is a bit thick, but the bottom bezel seems to be non-existent like the side bezels. The rear side of the phone features dual camera setup at the top-left corner of the phone.
Instead of the horizontal design seen on the predecessor models, the Mi 7 concept features a vertically arranged dual camera system. The fingerprint scanner is not present on the backside of the phone, but the bottom portion of the display has a fingerprint impression. This indicates that the concept model has an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Since the concept model has been created on the basis of Mi 7’s recent leaks, it features 5.65-inch Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, 16-megapixel dual camera setup and 4,480mAh battery.
