While quite a few Android companies are adopting notch-based monitors on their devices, it seems that Xiaomi does not want to be involved in the “rabbit farming.” Its upcoming product is the Xiaomi MI 6X. A full 18: 9 screen is available without any defects, and it will be available on the TENAA censored model, the M1804D2SC, in China, the device will be called the Mi 6X and will be Mi A2 in the national market. Like Mi A1, Xiaomi will be launching Mi 6X as an Android One smartphone, which means it has a pure Android operating system and does not have bloatware installed.
The design of the Smartphone is similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro, however, it will be monolithic metal with U antenna edges on the top and bottom. The back of the device is a dual camera cluster and the LED flash is aligned along the top left, while in the center is the fingerprint sensor. Because the fingerprint sensor translates to the back, it is possible to speculate that the front of the 6X will not have a physical home button, so the screen border will be thinner.
According to the data reported by TENAA, the dimensions will be 158.88 x 75.54 x 7.3mm. This compared to a 5.99-inch display, almost certainly a Full HD + panel in 18: 9. However, unlike Redmi Note 5 and Redmi 5 Plus, the lower thickness will result in a more modest battery. The TENAA, in fact, indicates the presence of a unit of “only” 2910mAh, which could be rounded to 3000mAh. The rest of the official specifications does not reveal anything special, between dual-SIM support and the Android operating system.
Prior to this, other configurations of the Xiaomi Mi 6X were revealed with the home-grown Surge S2 processor, 4GB Ram, 18: 9 Full HD + display. At the moment are all the details we know of the Xiaomi Mi 6X. We will inform you more when they come to light. The price and sale date of Mi 6X is still a secret. Xiaomi will release the Mi Mix 2S on March 27, maybe it will introduce Mi 6X?
