Xiaomi this year should upgrade the smartphone Mi 6 to MIUI 12. An update is planned at the end of this year, but for now, the manufacturer is testing the software. Currently, the latest closed beta is MIUI 12 v2020.6.12. It is built on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Despite this, Xiaomi Mi 6 with Android 11 was noticed in the Geekbench benchmark. Recall that the flagship was announced in April 2017 and went on sale with the pre-installed Android 7 operating system.
As you can see in the Geekbench ranking above, the device scored 1941 points in single-core and 7037 points in multi-core. The test results of the Mi 6 with Snapdragon 835 and 6GB of RAM clearly reveal how good the device is.
Most likely there are no errors in the benchmark, and the tested model really works under Android 11. However, you should not expect that the smartphone will receive this version of the operating system officially.
Probably, this is a custom version of the software, which is based on this version of the OS. This is not surprising, because the other day Google published the first public beta version of the Android 11 operating system, and it has already become available for several smartphones.
