Xiaomi has been preparing for some time to the new version of its Android software customization, the MIUI now reached the eleventh iteration. In this sense, last July it concluded the beta testing program of the international MIUI 10 and is now preparing to do the same in China.
After officially releasing Android Pie for the Mi 6, Xiaomi released this week a new update for the device featuring MIUI 10.4.3. According to some users, the update is currently only available to Chinese ROM users.
Still, it should not be long before the company releases the upgrade to the global version. The software weighs 147MB and, when installed, brings a number of patches and stability improvements to the Mi 6.
Another point to note is that this version of the interface also activates some features of Android Pie. Remember that Xiaomi has not yet confirmed whether Mi 6 will be upgraded to MIUI 11, but that could change in the coming weeks.
Through an official post on his forum, Xiaomi announced that MIUI 9.8.29 will be the last Chinese Beta. In fact, next August 31, the beta testing of MIUI 10 will be considered complete, so that the software development team will be able to focus all its resources on the release of the new MIUI 11. Clearly, the manufacturer will re-launch beta testing of its software with MIUI 11.
