Starting yesterday afternoon, the Xiaomi community successively pushed major version updates for Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and other models based on Android 14.
The updated interface of Xiaomi 13 Pro
Upon examining the update interface information, it becomes evident that this update has been rolled out comprehensively. The Xiaomi 13 model is now updated to version 14.0.3.0.UMCCNXM, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro model is updated to version 14.0.2.0.UMBCNXM. The installation package size has reached 6.1GB. The update log merely states, “Improving system security by updating the Google security patch (2023#09).”
The official version internal testing push for MIUI 14 based on Android 14 has begun for the aforementioned models.
At the Google I/O event held in May this year, Google officially released Android 14 Beta 2, and Xiaomi officially announced that Xiaomi Mi 13, Mi 13 Pro, and Mi Pad 6 would be the first to support the Android 14 Beta 1 update. After five months of refinement, the MIUI 14 system based on Android 14 has stabilized gradually.
On October 9, @digitalchat.com reported that MIUI 14 would be the last official major version of MIUI. The following day, the source xiaomiui challenged this perspective, stating that Xiaomi was still conducting internal testing of the MIUI 15 update and expected to release it officially with the Xiaomi 14 series.
In a previous report, Xiaomiui mentioned that Xiaomi had initiated testing of the MIUI 15 special edition update based on Android14 for two high-end models, Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Redmi K60 Pro.
