Xiaomi is set to unveil its flagship phones, the Mi 13 and Mi 13 Pro, during the Mobile World Congress 2023 which is scheduled to take place on February 26. This release has been highly anticipated by Xiaomi fans and technology enthusiasts alike. However, the company has another surprise in store for their fans, as they are expected to release a new model of the Mi 13 Lite, which is rumored to be the international version of the Mi Civi 2 mobile phone.
SnoopyTech, the renowned technology insider, has leaked the renderings of the Xiaomi Mi 13 Lite, which shows that the phone will feature a front-punched dual-camera design. The Mi Civi 2 National Bank mobile phone was previously released in September 2022, and it boasts a 6.55-inch 2400×1080 screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi Mi 13 Lite is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and is pre-installed with the MIUI 13 operating system. It also features a 32-megapixel + 32-megapixel front camera and a rear 50-megapixel main lens + 20-megapixel lens + a 2-megapixel lens. The phone is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery and supports 67W wired fast charging.
The front-facing cameras on the Xiaomi Civi 2 are its highlight feature, as it supports “bionic binoculars” and “ultra-clear binoculars”. The “bionic binoculars” function allows for delicate spatial gradual blurring, imitating the distance measurement of the human eye. The “ultra-clear binoculars” function, on the other hand, obtains up to 256 layers of depth information, making it easier to outline the visual focus. The phone also has a proactive micro-slit multi-color temperature four-soft light that includes three levels of color temperature (4300K natural light, 5200-5300K cold light, and 3300-3600K warm light) and supports five ambient light effects.
The Mi 13 Pro is a more high-end option for Xiaomi fans, with its 6.73-inch QHD+120Hz refresh rate AMOLED display. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, and it is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device features rear 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel cameras and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It is equipped with a 4820mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. The device is pre-installed to run the MIUI 14 system based on Android 13, making it a highly advanced and powerful device.
