Last night, @digital Chat, a well-known blogger who broke the news, posted: “The flagship video camera in the back can take photos and videos at the same time, and high-quality video takes up a lot of memory space, so why not use 1TB?”
The news is widely seen as a hint at the specs of Mi 12 Ultra, revealing that it may come with up to 1 TERabyte of storage.
Renderings circulating on the Internet suggest that Mi 12 Ultra’s rear camera has an exaggerated footprint that covers the entire upper half of the back and has so many holes that it should have at least four cameras, including a long lens that is rare this year.
Mi 12 Ultra is likely to have three main camera systems and an ultra-telephoto lens. It will have a high pixel 5x telephoto lens, which is very good for imaging, and some new technology will be added, which will likely continue to dominate the DXO.
Most notably, leica’s red logo has been shown in the leaked image, and there are a lot of rumors that the phone will cooperate with Leica to become xiaomi’s first high-end flagship phone with Leica certification.
Mi 12 Ultra will debut at the end of Q2, probably in June, and will be the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus chip.
According to the source, Mi 12 Ultra is currently equipped with a 2K resolution Samsung center single hole curved screen, which looks the same as MI 12 Pro.
