Snapdragon 898 flagship chip is expected to be officially released at the next Snapdragon Technology Summit on November 30, according to Qualcomm.
According to multiple sources, As a regular debuting in previous years, Xiaomi is also the manufacturer with the greatest probability to win the debuting of this chip, and the first Snapdragon 898 will be won by Xiaomi MI12 series.
According to some leaks, Mi 12 series will follow the design of the previous three models — Mi 12, Mi 12 Pro, and Mi 12 Ultra — and it will only be released as standard models next month, with two more powerful models coming in March.
While most of the recent leaks about the Mi 12 have been based on the standard version, some netizens have now revealed some information about the top-of-the-line Mi 12 Ultra, as well as concept renderings.
The front of Mi 12 Ultra is very similar to the MIX 4. It has a forward-facing screen, no holes at the top of the screen, and a hyperboloid with ultra-narrow borders instead of the mi 11’s four curved surfaces. The two curved surfaces are more restrained, allowing for better feel and display.
As for the back, Mi 12 Ultra follows in the same direction as its predecessor, with a smaller screen that can be paired with a rear-mounted camera for super-wide-angle, super-sharp selfies.
As for the video module, Mi 12 Ultra appears to have a three-camera scheme, with a main camera and a submerged telephoto next to what should be an ultra-wide-angle lens.
It is worth noting that the size of the main camera is very scary, depending on the situation should be a large bottom sensor, and currently only Samsung’s 192 million pixel sensor on the market can do that, almost reaching the original 1 inch large bottom, which is also the largest known in the industry.
