As 2021 draws to a close, after iPhone 13 series is released, Android vendors will need to follow Qualcomm’s lead in updating their flagship lines, such as Mi 12 series.
According to the relevant person mining, in the MIUI code recently appeared three new machines, respectively code-named “Munch” “Taoyao” and “Zijin”. All three are part of the Mi 12 series, but not the Mi 12, Mi 12 Pro and Mi 12 Ultra. Instead, they are mid-range, niche products aimed mainly at overseas markets.

As for the “Munch”, it is said to be the Mi 12T, corresponding to Redmi K50 series, one of which also features a 1080P 120Hz high-brush screen, in-screen fingerprint, and an upgraded snapdragon 870 processor.
