Xiaomi promised to present its new flagships Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro in December, and now there are a little more specifics regarding the premiere date. According to the famous Chinese leaker”digital chat station”, the Xiaomi Mi 11 will debut after Christmas, but before the New Year.
If you look at the calendar and take into account that Xiaomi’s announcements mainly happen on Tuesdays, we can assume that the event will take place on December 29th. Besides, the source also says that the Mi 11 will receive a quality AMOLED screen from Samsung. Nothing is said about the Mi 11 Pro screen, but it certainly won’t get any worse.
According to the unconfirmed information coming out, the Mi 11 is expected to bring Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 888 processor, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. The screen should be AMOLED, larger than 6-inch, resolution 1440p, and with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
As for the battery, it is suspected that the base version brings a capacity of 4920mAh, the Mi 11 Pro 5120mAh. The Mi 11 will support 55W charging, while support for 100W (or higher) charging, if any, will only be on the Mi 11 Pro.
As for the cameras, the main one should be 108MP, and two more 13MP and 5MP. The front camera should be 20MP. This smartphone should bring support for NFC and the operating system will be MIUI 12, based on Android 11.
Regarding the price, it is suspected that the Mi 11 could cost between 3999 ($610) to 4499 Yuan ($687). Earlier, the official representative of Xiaomi promised that the Mi 11 would not be in short supply – there will be enough smartphones for everyone.
