After launching the Xiaomi Mi 11 in Europe, we have long been hearing rumors about other possible members of the Mi 11 family such as the Mi 11 Lite, the Mi 11 Pro, and the Mi 11 Ultra. A Filipino YouTuber named Tech Buff PH has published a video in which he shows the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in great detail, although minutes later it was made private. Luckily, before this happened, it was possible to take screenshots.
The phone shown by Tech Buff PH is believed to be the device with model number M2012K1G recently certified by the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Europe and the Bureau of Indian Standards ( BIS ) of India. The phone is said to have the codename ” star “.
The YouTuber showed the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in black and white variants. A huge camera bump can be seen that almost occupies the top of the back cover of the terminal. There is a triple camera system that appears to include a periscope zoom lens.
The camera housing also includes the words “ AI Ultra Pixel 120X camera ”, a triple LED flash unit, and a secondary screen. The latter seems to be able to view any app on the phone. Apparently, it can be used to take top-notch selfies using the rear cameras. The black variant (which appears to be a prototype unit) has the text “ 12-120mm, 1: 1.95-4.1 ” instead of “Ultra Pixel”.
Regarding the technical specifications, we know that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra could have a 6.8-inch OLED screen with curved edges capable of offering a WQHD + resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. The hole located in the upper left corner of the screen will hold a 20MP selfie camera. The panel, on the other hand, will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. IP68 dust and water resistance will not be missing.
The Snapdragon 888 mobile platform will power the Mi 11 Ultra, assisted by LPDD5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It should be equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W fast wired charging, 67W fast wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.
Coming to the rear optics, the smartphone will have a 50MP main camera, a 48MP wide-angle lens, and a 48MP periscopic telephoto lens. Finally, it should be equipped with dual Harman Kardon speakers and an in-display fingerprint reader.
In addition, according to the image below, the infrared sensor will also appear on this machine, allowing users to use the Mi 11 Ultra to control TVs, air conditioners or some other home appliances.
