Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to release their latest flagship phone, Mi 11, on December 28. The flagship is expected to debut as the first Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone. Ahead of its launch, the Xiaomi Mi 11 has actually appeared on the Geekbench database.
As we can see, this device appeared on Geekbench carrying the M2011K2C model number, which is the same as the one listed on the 3C and on the Chinese network certification website, earlier this month.
The device scored 1135 points for the single-core test and 3642 points for the multi-core. The GeekBench listing also shows the device will run the Android 11 operating system based on MIUI 12. The device will also be powered by a processor codenamed ARM venus which is the Snapdragon 888.
Other additional features include the GPU Adreno 660 for powering graphics. The device is also seen carrying 12GB of RAM which should be the top variant in terms of memory configuration.
Meanwhile, for internal storage, the Mi 11 will come with 512GB. This phone comes using an AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate feature. This feature is an increase compared to the 90Hz refresh rate of its predecessor and 120W fast charging. Xiaomi possibly improves storage performance with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal memory.
Based on the concept rendering from Ben Geskin, it looks like the Xiaomi Mi 11 has a pretty slick and elegant screen curvature. The leak claims that this device is equipped with a curved screen at four corners that are coated with a protective layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 or maybe 6. Speaking of cameras, the Mi 11 will have a triple camera setup on the back carrying a 108MP main camera, 13MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro sensor.
Another source found several variants of Xiaomi Mi 11 in the catalog of one of the Chinese online stores. Judging by this data, the new flagship Xiaomi will have several special versions. Among them – with 12GB of RAM, 256GB of flash memory, and imitation leather in the design of the back panel, as well as a similar version, simply signed as a “special version”. The list includes the Mi 11 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of flash in purple and white. The blue color is also mentioned.
