Xiaomi officially unveiled its mi 12 series and MIUI 13 system on February 28. The latter has pushed out a development beta version, and the stable version will come next month.
However, MIUI 13 upgrade for the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra will limit wireless charging power to a maximum of 50W, up from 67W, and wired peak power to 65W, up from 67W.
It’s worth mentioning that the newly released Mi 12 and 12 Pro support up to 50W wireless charging.

There was no official response from Xiaomi as of press time, but the move is speculated to be related to the interim regulations on Radio Management of Wireless Charging (Power Transmission) Equipment (draft for Comments) issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in February, which stipulated that The rated transmission power of all mobile and portable wireless charging devices manufactured, imported, sold and used in China since January 1, 2022 shall be less than 50W.
