Xiaomi will present the global version of the Mi 11 as early as next Monday. Although the evidence is scarce, there is hope that this top of the range Mi 11 Pro can also be revealed at this event. What is certain is that today, on the Slashleaks platform, more details of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Pro + were shared.
Judging from what has been shared, the Slashleaks website published details on how the cameras of these smartphones, which are codenamed Star and Mars, respectively, will differ.
Both smartphones will receive a 6.81-inch AMOLED panel with QuadHD + resolution, support for a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 480 Hz touch layer sampling rate. Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 will act as a single-chip system. The main camera will offer 120x zoom for taking photos and 15x zoom for video recording.
The main camera of both smartphones will use a 50MP Sony IMX766 image sensor with a wide-angle lens and OIS. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro ultra-wide-angle camera will offer 0.6x zoom, while the Mi 11 Pro + will have a 0.5x zoom.
The main difference will be in the telescopic module, which provides a 5x optical zoom. The resolution of the corresponding sensor in the Mi 11 Pro will be 48MP, while the Mi 11 Pro + will have a lower resolution sensor (the exact value is not specified). In both cases, there is an optical image stabilization system.
It is important to note that the camera configuration revealed today is contrary to what was said earlier. Alleged renderings of the Xiaomi MI 11 Pro pointed to a camera with quad sensors, one periscopic.
Although the data shared today to speak at a maximum zoom of 120 times, the presence of a periscopic lens in these devices is not mentioned. As previously reported, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro + will support 67W wireless fast charging and will be equipped with a “much larger capacity” battery (compared to the standard Mi 11 Pro).
In addition, Xiaomi sent two models for certification, codenamed Mi 11 Big Cup and Mi 11 Super Big Cup, which are due to be presented this month. It should be noted that for now, this information should be classified as a rumor since the leaks of this insider have a trust rating of only 67%.
