On March 29, at 7.30pm [GMT+8], Xiaomi will hold its spring launch event, which will feature several new models, including the Mi Mix, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Youth.
Among them, Mi 11 Youth is the only 5G phone positioned in the middle of the above products, and it is also the lowest priced 5G phone in the Mi 11 series.
According to the information released by Wei Siqi, the product manager of Xiaomi, the youth version of Xiaomi MI11 adopts the digging-out screen scheme, the lower frame is only 2.75mm, and the left frame is only 1.88mm, which achieves a very narrow design and is comparable to the flagship.
Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of the Redmi brand, pointed out that the Mi 11 Youth version uses a flexible screen.
As we know, the mobile phone screen is never just a screen, it is all LCD/OLED/ cable plug board, and a combination of various IC components.
The Mi 11 Youth features a flexible screen with flagship packaging technology that directly bends part of the flexible OLED screen back, further reducing the bezels.
In addition, the Mi 11 Youth Edition will debut with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G processor, dubbed the “Little 888,” which follows the features of the flagship Snapdragon 888 chip set.
