Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi recently held a new event for its 10th anniversary, and the company’s new high-end smartphone Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra was officially unveiled as part of the event. The new device packs a slew of major upgrades over its regular and Pro sibling that saw a Malaysian launch back in April this year.
The device is already considered the best smartphone in the photo and video performance by the specialized website DxOMark. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra smartphone offers premium flagship specifications, including a 6.67 ″ curved True-Color AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, HDR10 + technology and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The dimensions of the smartphone are 162.38 x 75.04 x 9.45 mm.
The equipment also includes a flagship processor marked Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. So there is also support for a modern and fast 5G connection. The equipment will include up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will please graphene and liquid-based cooling and up to 8 thermal sensors.
The rear module of the camera protrudes quite significantly from the body of the device. Still, its technology is truly cutting-edge. The list of rear sensors includes the main 48MP Quad-Bayer sensor, but also a stabilized 48MP and 120 mm telephoto lens, which offers top technical specifications, including up to 120x zoom.
Other cameras also feature a 20MP enhanced ultra-wide angle sensor, this time offering a focal length of 12mm. The tests also measured 12.5 mm after distortion correction, making this sensor the widest field of view (128 degrees) currently on the market for mobile ultra-wide-angle cameras.
The fourth sensor is a 12MP (50 mm) telephoto lens. Video can be recorded in up to 8K resolution (main and ultra-zoom sensor).
The smartphone has already passed the DxO Mark tests and has become the leader in the ranking of the camera. With a gain of 130 points, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is also ahead of its competition in the form of the Huawei P40 Pro smartphone.
The smartphone also contains a high-capacity battery at 4500mAh. It can be charged via the USB Type-C connector at a revolutionary speed with a power of up to 120W. In 5 minutes you can charge up to 41% and for a full capacity of 100%, you only need 23 minutes. The quick charger is included directly in the package.
There is also fast wireless charging with a power of up to 50W. For a full capacity of 100%, only 40 minutes will suffice with this power.
At a press conference, Xiaomi also introduced new wireless chargers with a power of 20W and 55W. The Mi 10 Ultra smartphone even offers 10W reverse charging through the back cover.
