On 4 December 2019, when we introduced the new flagship processor from Qualcomm workshop, we learned that the Mi 10 will be one of the first smartphones in the world to be equipped with this chip. And now, the head of the Xiaomi, Lei Jun, has presented the test result of Mi 10 in Geekbench 5 on Weibo.
The CEO wanted to show us a comparison of the performance of the Xiaomi Mi 10 and its Snapdragon 865 against the Snapdragon 855+, Snapdragon 855 and other processors used by Huawei and Samsung such as the Kirin 990 5G or the Exynos 9825.
Lei Jun has shown the graphics that we can see under these lines. It shows us the amazing performance that the new Xiaomi will have, obtaining in GeekBench 934 points to a single core and 3464 points in multi-core.
As we said, a pretty surprising performance but still only compared to the performance thrown by several of the best processors of last year. That is, the Xiaomi Mi 10 would position itself as an undisputed leader in performance but in the absence of seeing what performance the new ships will have badges of other brands.
Even so, the Xiaomi Mi 10 manages to obtain 25% more performance in the processing of images, video and AI tasks in general compared to that obtained by the Xiaomi Mi 9. In addition, thanks to the Snapdragon 865, the new flagship of Xiaomi gets to improve their consumption by 15%, offering not only a higher yield but also greater autonomy.
