Earlier today, Xiaomi officially confirmed that it will launch the global Mi 10 series at an event taking place on February 23, right before the MWC 2020.
Interestingly, just a few hours later, Samsung Display reposted this post on Weibo to advertise more about the arrival of Xiaomi’s latest flagship. That seems to suggest that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro flagships will use Samsung’s displays.
According to Gizchina, although this post did not reveal anything more about the Mi 10, information about the phone has been revealed in previous leaks. Specifically, Xiaomi VP, Chang Cheng previously said that the upcoming Mi 10 series will use Snapdragon 865 + LPDDR5 + UFS3.0. While a recent leak of Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro shows that this phone has a borderless design and two curved edges are beautifully curved.
It is worth noting that in addition to Samsung Display reposting the Weibo post of Mi 10, companies like Samsung ISOCELL, Huiding, Zhuhai Guanyu (Pin) and Micron S also forward it on Weibo. This shows that Xiaomi Mi 10 will use technology from different companies for cameras, fingerprint sensors, batteries, storage chips, etc.
