Xiaomi is set to unveil a brand new stylus following the successful launch of the second-generation Xiaomi-inspired stylus. The upcoming stylus, Xiaomi Focus Pen, has already obtained certification from Bluetooth SIG, signaling its compatibility with Bluetooth version 5.1. While the name “Focus Pen” differs from the previous “Smart Pen” on the Xiaomi-inspired stylus, specific features of this new stylus remain shrouded in mystery.
The certification database indicates that the stylus has model number 23089MP43C, but no further information has been disclosed. To draw a comparison, the Xiaomi Inspiration Stylus (Second Generation) measures 160mm long, 8.8mm in diameter, and weighs approximately 13 grams. Additionally, it boasts a 40mAh lithium-ion battery with wireless charging support, offering an impressive battery life of 150 hours.
Regarding its capabilities, the Xiaomi Inspiration Stylus (Second Generation) incorporates a 26° elastomer nib, supporting 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. Applying 5 grams of activation force allows users to create smooth pen and ink strokes. The pen features two buttons, enabling quick access to functions such as opening Mi Note, switching brushes, and taking screenshots. The Mi Inspiration Stylus (Second Generation) is currently compatible with Mi Pad 5/6/6 Pro and other models.

Coincidentally, Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 6 Max, a new tablet product, recently received Bluetooth SIG certification. Identified by the model number “23078KB5BC,” this tablet is expected to cater to the Chinese market, following the naming conventions of Xiaomi’s mobile phones and tablets.
