Tonight’s live broadcast of the 2023 annual speech by Lei Jun promises an exciting lineup. Among the product releases, including mobile phones, tablets, and bracelets, there’s a surprise announcement known as the “One More Little Thing” – the Xiaomi CyberDog 2. This remarkable creation is now available at Xiaomi Mall for 12,999 yuan ($1790).
Regarding appearance, Xiaomi CyberDog 2 has a more canine-like resemblance than its predecessor. Leveraging AI-driven self-learning, it has undergone parallel training with insights from 30,000 robot dogs. The capabilities are awe-inspiring, encompassing gesture interaction, voice control, face recognition, seamless integration with AIoT devices, amalgamated following, and obstacle avoidance.
This is all supported by a robust computing power of 21TOPS. Including 12 CyberGear micro-motors, guided by an AI-developed balance dynamic algorithm, adds to its agility. The AI multi-modal fusion perception decision-making system further enhances its abilities, allowing it to achieve speeds up to 1.6 meters per second. Lei Jun affectionately refers to it as “more dog than a dog.”
For those intrigued by the innovative CyberGear micro-motor, it is now available for purchase within the industry for 499 yuan ($69).
