Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is nearing its debut on the market: this is suggested by the many rumors spread in recent days, including the certification that the second Xiaomi gaming smartphone has obtained in the Chinese market. The first hands-on video, which is unlikely to go unnoticed, comes as a further test of the next commercialization of the terminal.
Respecting the unwritten rule, but tacitly accepted by the producers, so if it is not full of RGB lights, then it is not a gaming device, Xiaomi has decided not to skimp on the lighting system integrated into the new Black Shark. In addition to the “S” (shark) logo on the back, two portions of the side edges of the smartphone are equipped with RGB LED lights.
Activated in unison, and probably managed by the software customized by the manufacturer, the three elements produce a result that will delight those who can not give up their smartphone in a sort of portable disco (or horrify those who, on the contrary, do not appreciate the use and abuse of such technical solutions integrated into a peripheral or gaming device).
For the rest, the video confirms some details of the design already emerged in the TENAA certification: it is possible to identify the double rear camera with slightly protruding lenses and positioned vertically in the middle of the upper part of the back cover; a little further down is the fingerprint sensor. The back has a double finish with opaque edges and a shiny central part. Unfortunately, the movie does not show the front of the smartphone and is not useful for getting more information on the remaining technical features.
Waiting for the presentation of Black Shark 2, it is recalled that the activation of the global website of Black Shark suggests that Xiaomi could extend the distribution of smartphone gaming to the European market.
Of the Xiaomi Black Shark 2, for the moment it is known that it will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. The rest of the technical specifications should be completed with 128GB of internal memory and a panel of 18: 9 but without the 120Hz refresh rate offered by the Razer terminal. In its favor, it will have the price, which is estimated to be around the $500 launch, compared to the $ 799 of the Razer Phone 2.
