After launching the Xiaomi 13 series consisting of 13 and 13 Pro, Xiaomi may plan to launch another smartphone in the same series soon. “Xiaomi 13 Lite” has appeared in the Google Play Console database, and the device code is Ziyi. MySmartPrice reports that the 13 Lite is expected to be a rebranded version of the Mi Civi 2.
The device design render looks a lot like the Xiaomi Civi 2. The report states that the upcoming smartphone will be equipped with a 1080×2400 pixel resolution and a 440ppi display. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip and up to 8GB of RAM, with Android 12 pre-installed.
It is reported that the Xiaomi Civi 2 mobile phone is equipped with a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Three cameras on the rear, including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. It features dual front-facing cameras consisting of a 32MP main camera and a 32MP ultra-wide-angle camera for selfies and video calls.
Meanwhile, a report claims that Xiaomi plans to launch the 13 series of phones globally at the upcoming MWC 2023, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from February 27 to March 2. Xiaomi may also release a new Xiaomi 13 Ultra model, equipped with Leica imaging technology.
